LOCATION: The town of Shivachevo is located in South-East Bulgaria and it is part of Tvarditsa Municipality, which is the furthest west point of Sliven District. Shivachevo lies in a valley at the foot of the Eleno-Tvardishka Mountain, a share of the Balkan Mountains, which is steep and furrowed by deep ravines here. The town is situated on a broad, silt cone rich in subterranean water. The river Blyagornitsa flows past the town. The highest summit in the area of Shivachevo is Kichesta (1425 m).
