LOCATION: The town of Kermen is located in South-East Bulgaria, between Sliven, Nova Zagora and Yambol, and it is part of Sliven Municipality, Sliven District. Kermen lies in the Thracian Lowland, among the east slopes of the Sredna Gora Mountains. The name of the town is derived from the word keremida, which means tile in English. The surrounding area offers good conditions for hunting, fishing and hiking. The railway line from Sofia to Bourgas runs through the town.
